Composition IV

In Composition 4 you’ll see a mix of swirling, soaring colours.

On the left of the thick, vertical lines is a violent side with jaggered and sharp lines. On the right calm is expressed with sweeping forms and colour harmony.

The two lines in the middle are swords that are held by red hatted cossacks in front of a blue mountain. On top of the blue mountain is a castle.

On the bottom left are two depicted boats with a rainbow in between. On the lower right are two people lying on a hill. Above them are 2 priests watching them.

Pigasso and Mootisse

Pigasso uses strange features and strange shapes, and thats what his clothes look like. His colours are mainly muudy browns like mud as that is where he is used to living in a pig sty. He paints like a 2 year old.

Mootisse  uses bold colours to make his paintings, and that’s what he looks like. He paints like a mad cow doing colour by numbers.

Movie about Hine

The year 5 & 6 extension group worked on a movie about Hine (One person per movie). Every one tried their best & so did I. My favourite part was when I added the soundtracks because their was cool songs to listen to. My least favourite was making the voiceovers because I had to change onto my google docs to see what I wrote. I learnt a lot about her; she was drawn by Robin Kahukiwa who lives in Sydney, Australia. My behaviour was in the middle; sometimes I was slack.

Making the movie was really hard for me but in the end I had a complete movie. Hope you like it!!!!

Swimming!

It was a Monday morning as we walked to the pool

I like going there it’s really cool

And it is the truth I swear

it’s something I couldn’t bear

If we were denied

The chance to try

to go in the pool

That would be so not cool!

Intensively painting my background, I didn’t pay any attention to what was happening around me.

THE END

“Iisa,” I said to myself, ”That looks good. Go work on your petals.”

The tissue - or should I say petals, - were amazing even though it was white.

Painting the petals, I had created a bizarre, vibrant and colourful flower.

Melted Crayon Art!

The second I sat down, I knew we’d do something unnatural. “Everyone’” Miss King announced, (not on the intercom!) “We’ll be making today melted crayon art.” Miss King said how to make it and stuff but its too much info.

Using the Stencil, I painted Create on the Canvas which Miss King says is really expensive. And by that time my group glued on the crayons. But we made a terrible (yes terrible)mistake. Since my group took off that thing over the crayon, it wouldn’t glue on the cardboard. We asked Miss King if we could use her cardboard thing and she said- “Yes but after Morning tea.” And so we left for lunch...

And as we came in we got back to work; Blow drying the crayons. As Bishop did that I filmed the crayons that were trickling down on the canvas. It took 5 minutes to finish. After that we were completely done.

And lemme say I do not want to do this ever again.
